(New York, NY) – Richard Stockton competed in the NYU Fastrack Challenge at New York Armory today, and there was no team scoring.
Tim Miller (Tuckerton/Pinelands) led the Ospreys by winning the high jump (2.05m), defeating 11 entrants in the process. Four additional members of the Stockton men's team finished seventh or higher in an event while four female Ospreys placed in the top eight in an event at the meet.
Ryan Mazzeo (Marmora/Ocean City) finished fourth in the pole vault (4.25m) and
Tyler Pinto (Toms River/TR North) was fifth in the 500m (1:06.43).
Dan Hemmerlin (West Milford/West Milford) placed sixth in the high jump (1.85m) and
Aaron Wilson (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) was seventh in the triple jump (12.15m).
Christina Lees (Stratford/Sterling) was the top performer for the Stockton women's team, finishing third in the pole vault (3.30m).
Nicole Salge (Spotswood/Spotswood) placed fifth in the 1000m (3:02.47) and
Nikki Stratton (Stratford/Sterling) was seventh in the long jump (5.29m).
Meagan Simmons (Manahawkin/Southern) finished eighth in the triple jump (10.45m) for the Ospreys.
Some members of the Stockton teams, mainly those who did not compete today, will compete in the Coach I Open at Franklin & Marshall tomorrow. The full Osprey teams will compete in the NJAC Indoor Championships at New York Armory next Friday, February 22 at 11 am.
