Results
Staten Island, NY – Stockton University produced its best men's finish ever at the NJAC Indoor Championships with second place (118 points) while the Osprey women also competed well and placed third (131 points) at the meet, which took place at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. Stockton won three men's events and three women's events, with two Ospreys each winning twice.
Jared Lewis (Westville/Deptford) won the triple jump (15.00m) and long jump (7.10m), taking both events for the third straight year.
Emily Higbee (Absecon/Holy Spirit) won the weight throw by nearly five feet (15.37m) and shot put by over two feet (12.17m) for victories in both for the second year in a row.
Stockton also swept the pole vault, with
Kaitlyn Dermen (Millville/Millville) repeating as the women's champ (3.70m) and freshman
Keith Holland (Bayville/Central Regional) capturing the men's vault (4.25m).
Three Osprey men registered runner-up finishes,
Qudratullah Qadiri (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) behind Holland in the pole vault (4.10m), freshman
Olivier Paul (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) in the 400m (49.30 seconds) and
Donovan Bryan-Frank (Teaneck/Teaneck) in the high jump (1.98m). Paul and Bryan-Frank joined
Omar Dogbey (Manalapan/Manalapan) and
Jahmir Ellis (Glassboro/Deptford) for third place in the 4x400 relay (3:23.82).
Freshmen
Gunnar Pearson (Barnegat/Barnegat) and
Cooper Knorr (Manalapan/Manalapan) teamed with
Matt Cohen (Robbinsville/Robbinsville) and
Christian Mele (Cherry Hill/CH East) for third in the 4x800 relay (8:09.93). Beyond the top-three performances, the Ospreys used their depth to rack up team points and finish second overall. Stockton competitors were fourth in three events, fifth in three events and sixth in four events.
Stockton dominated the women's pole vault, with winner Dermen followed by freshman
Kristina Raylman (Warren Grove/Southern Regional) in second (3.20m) and
Elizabeth Douglas (Thorofare/West Deptford) in third (3.05m).
Justine Hosszu (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) placed second behind Higbee in the shot put (11.34m) while
Jessica McRae (Keyport/Carteret) was the runner-up in the triple jump (10.81m).
Three Stockton women's relay teams finished third. Dermen,
Vanessa Spollen (Northfield/Mainland) plus freshmen
Jayla Harrison (Deptford/Deptford) and
Amanda Noel (Brick/Brick Twp.) placed third in the 4x400 (4:04.85).

Joanna Carluccio (West Caldwell/Caldwell),
Abby Lodge (Douglassville, PA/Daniel Boone) and freshman
Erica Burdsall (Bridgeton/Cumberland) for third in the 4x200 (1:48.17).
Nicole Christensen (Jefferson/Jefferson Twp.),
Christine Daly (Eatontown/Monmouth),
Regina Duncan (Frelinghuysen Twp./North Warren) and freshman
Jesse DeLello (Warren/Watchung Hills) were third in the 4x800 (10:07.05).
