Galloway, NJ – Sixteen members of the Stockton University women's indoor track & field team earned NJAC all-conference honors for the 2017-18 Indoor Season. Leading the way was senior
Emily Higbee (Absecon/Holy Spirit) who earned NJAC First Team honors in the weight throw and shot put and fellow senior
Kaitlyn Dermen (Millville/Millville) who was NJAC First Team in the pole vault. Both were First Team honorees for the second consecutive season.
The all-conference teams are based on finish in each event at the NJAC Championships on February 19. As a team, the Ospreys placed third at the conference meet for the third consecutive season. Event winners at the NJAC Championships receive NJAC First Team honors, while runners-up are slotted for NJAC Second Team kudos and third-place finishers are recognized as NJAC Honorable Mention.
Higbee won the weight throw (15.37m) by over five feet and shot put (12.17m) at the NJAC meet to collect NJAC First Team honors in both events. Her winning toss in the shot put bested her closet competitor by over two feet.
Dermen repeated as the women's champ (3.70m) and led a sweep in the pole vault by the Ospreys. Dermen followed by freshman
Kristina Raylman (Warren Grove/Southern Regional) in second (3.20m) and
Elizabeth Douglas (Thorofare/West Deptford) in third (3.05m) as Raylman and Douglas collected NJAC Second Team and NJAC Honorable Mention spots respectively.
Jessica McRae (Keyport/Carteret) was the runner-up in the triple jump (10.81m), earning her first all-conference nod with an NJAC Second Team honor.
Justine Hosszu (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) placed second behind Higbee in the shot put (11.34m) for NJAC Second Team recognition.
Three Stockton women's relay teams qualified for NJAC Honorable Mention nods by placing third at the conference meet. Dermen,
Vanessa Spollen (Northfield/Mainland) plus freshmen
Jayla Harrison (Deptford/Deptford) and
Amanda Noel (Brick/Brick Twp.) placed third in the 4x400 (4:04.85).

Abby Lodge (Douglassville, PA/Daniel Boone) and freshman
Erica Burdsall (Bridgeton/Cumberland) for third in the 4x200 (1:48.17).

Christine Daly (Eatontown/Monmouth),
Regina Duncan (Frelinghuysen Twp./North Warren) and freshman
Jesse DeLello (Warren/Watchung Hills) were third in the 4x800 (10:07.05).
